Once the user is established on the Operating System side and the configuration file is in order, the user needs to have a Resource Manager (RM) User Record created before the user will be available within laua. Lawson provides the desktop tools necessary to set up and maintain User Records on System Foundation 9.0: the Resource Manager and the Lawson Security Administrator. Both tools offer different types of functionality relative to the 9.0 environment.
Once the RM User Record is created, the user will be available for administration in laua. This scenario details how to access a user in Resource Manager and points out the important attributes or fields defined on the User Record.
