The topics covered in this session include the following: Resource Manager User Record – The required User record for all users on System Foundation 9.0 Technology CheckLS Value – Determines how the user is authorized to use Lawson – either Lawson User Administration, Lawson’s Legacy Security System (laua) or Lawson 9.0 Security Group Membership – How the user receives access to the Employee Self Service Portal Bookmark. Security Role – How the user receives authorization to the necessary HR programs and files that support ESS when the CheckLS value = Yes. Portal Role – Controls the portal experience for the user. Removes access to the search box, forces access to the ESS Portal Bookmark, and so on. Manage Identities – The segment of the user that stores user credentials and supports the Single Sign On Functionality in 9.0 Technology. Employee Self Service Agent – Stores the user’s Company number and Employee ID. Company and Employee ID Assignment – Stored in Manage Identities, ESS Agent.
