What are the technical requirements to be a Lawson user on System Foundation 9.0 Technology?
In order to be a Lawson user, most users will need to have an Operating System ID (account) set-up on the Operating System. How do you know if the user has an OSid? On a Unix Aix system, verify the user account by checking the /etc/passwd file.
If the user has an OSid in the /etc/passwd file, they must also meet the requirements specified in the LAWDIR/system/univ.cfg file.
The user must first exist in /etc/passwd and meet the requirements in the LAWDIR/system/univ.cfg file and they must have a Resource Management (RM) User Record.
