At the top of the User Profile is the information coming directly from the /etc/passwd file including the user name, user id, group id, home directory, and shell name for the selected user.
Once the user has an Operating System ID defined in /etc/passwd, meets the requirements in the univ.cfg file, and has an RM User Record, the user will be available for setup and maintenance in laua. Groups must be assigned to each user. User Group, Printer Group, and Job Queue Groups are mandatory assignments. The Distribution List Group is optional. Groups will be defined in the next few pages.
