Use the PortalRole to control the Portal experience for a Group of users. The Lawson Employee Self Service user is often not a Lawson back office user and only uses the Employee Self Service center. The PortalRole is created by a Portal Administrator and is assigned to appropriate users on the RM User Record. The PortalRole can remove unnecessary access (such as Search Box) for the assigned users. It can also lock access to the Employee Self Service Bookmark. This eliminates the need to train all users on how to subscribe to Portal Bookmarks.
