The loadusers utility is a tool that allows mass assignment of Roles, Groups, User Data, and Identities. Use loadusers to assign the Employee Self Service Security Role to all ESS users. It can also be used to assign the ESS Group to all ESS users and to assign Company Numbers and Employee IDs on the Employee Self Service Agent for all Employee Self Service users. loadusers works against the data found in the GENDIR/system/loadusers.xml.template file. Edit a copy of the template to include all data to be loaded on Employee Self Service users and then run loadusers –f filename. Click the Next page button to continue.
